Opticon PHL 1300

Opticon PHL 1300 wireless handheld PDT (Portable Data Terminal) scanner is recommended for use with EDC Software. This Opticon scanner is specifically designed to read bar code labels and will help manage physical documents and items in a record center, file room or offices. EDC Software customers around the globe and in our own record storage facility have been using this Opticon PDT.  It is robust, easy to read, holds a lot of data and a single charge will last for a relatively long period of time. The Opticon PHL 1300 is very good value for its price. 

EDC Software users can purchase and service these Opticon units locally or they can be purchased from DocuData and be serviced by Opticon if requested.

File Delivery Pouch

File Delivery Pouches are available for purchase from DocuData. File Delivery Pouches are used when transporting loose files to help protect them from losing their contents and from damage due to handling or weather. It also helps secure the files by keeping them out of view from prying eyes.

Pouches are 2 sided and made with a durable black nylon canvas on the outside and a fused nylon finish on the inside. Their dimensions are 19.5 inches by 14 inches (50 cm wide by 36 cm high). Logos and other information can be imprinted onto either side of the pouch. In addition, one side features a double stitched clear plastic envelope which is Velcro sealed and suitable to hold way bills.  This envelope measures 6 inches by 3 inches (15 cm wide by 8 cm high).

Thermal Label Rolls & Carbon Rolls

Thermal Label Rolls can be purchased from DocuData. These label rolls are suitable for thermal printers which can accommodate a roll which is 4 inch wide (10 cm) with an inside core diameter of 3 inches (7.5 cm) and an outside diameter of 8 inches (20.5 cm).  There are 2 choices of label sizes, 4 inches by 2 inches (10 cm by 5 cm) or 4 inches by 4 inches (10 cm by 10 cm). There are a total of 3250 and 1625 labels respectively per roll and each weighs about 7 pounds (3.17 kg). The cost for each thermal label roll is $30 plus shipping and taxes (if applicable).

Matching Carbon Rolls can also be purchased from DocuData which are suitable for thermal printers. Each carbon roll has an inside diameter of 1 inch (2.5 cm) and outside diameter of almost 3.5 inches (9 cm). The carbon rolls weigh 3 pounds (1.36 kg) each. One carbon roll can be used for two thermal label rolls. The cost for each carbon roll is $25 plus shipping and taxes (if applicable).
